DESCRIPTION
The Classical Arabic programme is designed for those who wish to study the language of the Quran and other traditional texts. In this programme, you will have the opportunity to study poetry and prose, Islamic history, lessons from the Quran, Balaghah (Rhetoric), Naqd (Critical Analysis), Uruud (Metrics) and more.
This programme is ideal for those who want to:
- Understand the Quran without translation
- Seek knowledge independently and study the Islamic sciences
- Appreciate the rich literary and cultural heritage of the Islamic world

Curriculum
Duration: 40 hours
– Learn to read Arabic words and sentences by completing the Qaa’idah (Arabic Primer)
– Memorise 6 short Surahs (Al-Fatihah, An-Naas-Al-Kaafirun)/ improve your recitation of them
Duration: 40 hours
– Develop your confidence and fluency in reciting Quran through daily reading practice (Qaa’idah An-Nooraaniyyah/Noorul Bayaan)
– Improve your pronunciation of Arabic
– Practice some basic Tajweed rules
– Memorise selected short Surahs.
